What will the apprentice be doing?
An apprentice in our maintenance team will support the smooth running of our manufacturing and logistic sites, working across mechanical and electrical systems, machinery and facilities.
- Planned maintenance — assisting with routine servicing, inspections, lubrication and safety checks on production machinery and site equipment.
- Fault‑finding and repairs — helping diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, supporting breakdown response and learning how to restore equipment safely and efficiently.
- Facilities upkeep — supporting general site maintenance including lighting, utilities, building systems and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Continuous improvement — contributing to lean activities, equipment reliability improvements and learning how to reduce downtime.
- Technical development — building skills through supervised hands‑on work, training modules and exposure to both mechanical and electrical engineering tasks.
