What will the apprentice be doing?
The apprentice will be working closely with the senior management accountant in the day-to-day tasks within the finance department, including:
- Reviewing and approving expenses, including approving credit card expenses
- Maintaining the monthly journal
- Using internal systems, including SAGE and FocalPoint, and receiving traning on how to use these effectively
- Completing individual projects to help develop the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will spend 80% of your time working within the finance team and the remaing 20% completing college work remotely, usually in the workplace
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you could progress to a full-time permanent position within the finance department
