Apprentice Teaching Assistant

ONE ACADEMY TRUST

The successful candidate would work in school and attend college to undertake the required qualification. They would work as a member of staff to help support all pupils in our school access the full curriculum.  They would work with individual pupils, groups of pupils and in the classroom under the supervision of a class teacher.

What will the apprentice be doing?

·        Supporting pupils in school with individual needs.

·        Supporting all pupils and working in a team.

·        Help create a nurturing and supportive school to all pupils.

·        Assist with lunch and break times.

·        To work with a Class teacher and Senior Leadership team to review provision for pupils and support the implementation of our school curriculum and individual support plans.

Things to consider

This will involve playground duties. It may sometimes involve attending events outside of the working hours to contribute to the wider ethos of the school eg. Summer Fair, Christmas Fair.

DBS check will be required and pre employment checks.
