What will the apprentice be doing?
- The apprentice will work within a range of District Council Departments, under a planned carousel arrangement
- They will work under supervision and guidance to develop skills, knowledge and experience to provide delivery of a friendly, helpful and efficient service to the council’s internal and external customers
- This could include face-to-face service delivery as well as by telephone and electronic means
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will complete Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Training which will be delivered on an on-the-job basis with access to an apprentice mentor and assessor.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of the two-year programme, it is anticipated that the apprentice will be employment-ready and will be given the opportunity to apply for any available permanent employment opportunities within the District Council.
