What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be taught and achieve an understanding of the whole bakery process including:
- Weighing up ingredients.
- Bread mixing, fermentation and proving.
- How to operate our ovens to produce high quality breads and rolls.
- Confectionery skills to include: creaming, piping and coating.
- How to produce savoury products.
- The main contact within the organisation will be the Day Bakery Manager.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 Baker.
- All training is carried out at the workplace.

Once the apprenticeship is completed the start time will be 5.00am and in the future there may be a requirement to work other shifts such as nights Candidates must understand that there will be a physical element to the role
