What will the apprentice be doing?
- Assisting the project team to help drive projects forward to meet stringent deadlines.
- Assisting in the management of site operations, to ensure safety, quality, cost effectiveness, timely production and customer satisfaction.
- Involved in the management of sub-contracts and assisting procuring sub-contractor, labour, plant and material resources.
- Ensuring actions are carried out at the right time, by the right people and to a controlled budget.
- Developing key relationships with site teams, client staff, design teams, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Construction Design and Build Technician (Level 4)
- Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Apprentices who choose this programme could go down the construction management route or project management route depending on what they enjoy the most.
