What will the apprentice be doing?
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Chairside assistance
- Greeting patients
- Computer data entry
- Managing stock and materials
- Maintaining pateitn confidentiality
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Replying to, and sending, emails
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Dental Nurse Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- This Apprenticeship will be completed by working 4 days per week onsite with the employer, learning the job role and gaining valuable work experience, and then 1 day per week completing college work remotely
- English and maths Functional Skills may be completed alongside the apprenticeship if necessary, however, passing this will be mandatory to receive the apprenticeship qualification
