Noah Willerton, who is 17 and from Alvaston, is looking forward to studying English Literature with Creative Writing ay the University of Leeds.
Noah, a former pupil of Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, got A* A-level grades in Psychology and Criminology and an A in English Literature.
He said: “I’ve enjoyed studying for my A-levels at Joseph Wright Centre. I think going to college prepares you well for university. Our teachers were great too. Rajini is a legend!”
