Course Information for Students

The Welding Taster Course at DCG is designed to introduce new learners to the world of fabrication and welding. Learners will be given an opportunity to learn the basic skills of metal joining and to make and take home a stunning garden ornament. In this course the learner will use a variety of different thicknesses and processes to join materials together.

Due to the nature of this course we will only be running it on a small group basis to ensure learners get the absolute most from this experience. The DCG workshop has everything the learner would need and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, so learners can take away a life skill that may be used to further their career in this field. This course also lends itself to the arts and crafts area, producing small welds for sculptural projects.

This course has no entry requirements.
