Spanish Next Steps (Award in Spanish Reading and Writing: E3)

This course is for those who have a little conversational Spanish, but would like to improve their skills and learn basic reading and writing in Spanish.

You will require a little Spanish speaking and listening ability to get the most out of this course.

• Writing sentences on everyday topics
• Writing short paragraphs on everyday topics
• Reading for information
• Reading for leisure
• Basic grammatical structures
• Practice in conversational Spanish

• Classroom activities
• Role play
• Engaging in discussion
• Reading and comprehending Spanish text
• Supported personal writing on everyday topics

You just need a willingness to work collaboratively and independently and to complete homework tasks.

There will be an initial assessment and a summative assessment for accreditation. 

You may want to progress to a higher qualification in Spanish.
