also suitable for anyone who handles medication while in a caring role.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements to access this programme.
What will you learn?
This course is split into four manageable units:
Unit 1: Understand medication and prescriptions
Unit 2: Supply, storage and disposal of medication
Unit 3: Understand the requirements for the safe
administration of medication
Unit 4: Record keeping and audit processes for medication
How will you learn?
This course will be delivered online.
What will you need to bring with you?
You need access to a laptop and the Internet.
How will you be assessed?
You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence which is put together during the course and demonstrates that you have met the required assessment criteria. The portfolio of evidence is in the form of a workbook that may be paper-based or online to suit you.
