This course will provide an opportunity for beginners to learn basic skills in specified Adobe applications.

Who is this course for?
These courses are for adults who are interested in learning skills in a range of Adobe applications, such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
The courses will run for five weeks in two pathways and take place at the Joseph Wright Centre.
- Introduction to Adobe Photoshop (£75) – Monday – 18:00-20:00
- Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro (£75) – Wednesday – 18:00-20:00
*Additional courses will also run in the academic year of 24/25.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements.
What will you learn?
The course will cover the basics of the Adobe application you are interested in (i.e. Photoshop/Premiere Pro). There will be set activities designed to develop your skills and to help you learn about the fundamentals of the application. This will give you the basic tools and techniques to set you off to create media products of your own.
How will you learn?
You will learn on-site.
What will you need to bring with you?
Some specialist equipment may be required, depending on your individual needs.
How will you be assessed?
There is no formal assessment, but feedback will be continual through discussion and advice.
Where next?
The course should prepare you for personal/professional creativity. A course such as this would enable you to develop a portfolio of work or the essentials you need for marketing yourself or your business. Higher levels of these Adobe courses may be available dependent on demand.
