Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems – Level 2

This qualification is designed for anyone looking to develop their understanding of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill health.

There are no specific entry requirements.

To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems, learners are required to complete 13 mandatory units successfully. You will study topics such as:

• Understanding Mental Health
• Understanding Stress
• Understanding Anxiety

The objective of this qualification is to develop the learners’ understanding of a range of mental health problems. This could be used to support their role in the workplace wherever they may work or interact with individuals with mental health problems.

This is a blended programme where you will learn both on site and independently.

Further Study

You can progress to other vocationally related short courses or a Level 3 Mental Health Awareness qualification.
