This workshop focuses on the experience of compassion and loving kindness. It will provide the space for nurturing expressions of compassion towards yourself and others - and extending this out to the world around you.
Through mindful practices you will experience what it truly means to be compassionate and explore how befriending yourself is such an important aspect of mindful living.
There are no formal entry requirements for this experience, but you should be aged 19+. Children aged 16+ can attend if accompanied by an adult.
We will also be teaching some simple mindful meditation practices, including mindful sitting and mindful movement. If you aren’t sure whether this workshop is suitable for you, our mindfulness facilitator is happy to discuss it with you.
People with all levels of experience are welcome.
Through the development of kindness and compassion, you will be able to change your inner landscape and build your right inner voice through the cultivation of compassionate self talk and by fostering self acceptance when faced with difficulty.
Guided meditations and mindful exercises will enable you to develop the qualities of warmth, appreciation, joy and gratitude.
A truly nurturing and cleansing day - what could be nicer?
At an introductory level, you will be taught a range of simple exercises that enable you to develop a new and more helpful sense of awareness. No prior knowledge is required. Don’t worry - we will tell you and show you all you need to know.
Bring a mat, cushion and blanket, an open mind, a willingness to practise and YOU - that’s ALL!
Lunch and soft refreshments will be provided and are inclusive of the price paid.
