Course Summary

Enjoy a fun and leisurely day creating some of Italy’s most delicious bread, cakes and biscuits.

This course will enable learners to make a variety of doughs to create three different types of traditional Italian bakes.

Entry requirements

The workshop is for adults aged 18+.

Children aged 12+ can, however, attend if accompanied by a paying adult.

There are no formal entry requirements for this experience - you just need a keen interest in baking!

Course Content

On the day you will make:

  • Ciabatta and Grissini - traditional Italian Slipper bread and breadsticks
  • Orange and Olive Oil Biscotti - baked ring biscuits with an orange glaze
  • Baked Zeppole - typical Italian cream filled pastries

We will provide you with in-time demonstrations as well as some great tips and recipes to help you get things right at home.  

How will I be assessed?

There are no assessment criteria - just observe, have a go and enjoy!

Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required?

Lunch and soft refreshments will be provided.

All ingredients, aprons and equipment are included in the price paid.  Students will also get to take home what they have made on the day.
