Course Summary

In this social and informative cooking workshop you will make a selection of delicious artisan breads.

You will have the opportunity to make your own doughs and will be introduced to master cutting and shaping techniques.

Entry requirements

The workshop is for adults aged 18+.

Children aged 12+ can, however, attend if accompanied by a paying adult.

There are no formal entry requirements for this experience - you just need a keen interest in baking!

Course Content

On the day you will learn how to make a variety of authentic breads with a choice of different flavours and toppings to select from:

  • Traditional bloomer or bread rolls
  • Fougasse - a flat, round loaf
  • Focaccia - a flat oven-baked Italian bread

We will provide you with in-time demonstrations as well as some great tips and recipes to help you get things right at home.

How will I be assessed?

There are no assessment criteria - just observe, have a go and enjoy!

Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required?

All ingredients, aprons and equipment are included in the price paid.  Students will also get to take home what they have made on the day.

Soft refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
