Disability Football Finals

Full Squad 2

Students from Derby College have narrowly missed out on reaching the national finals of the British College’s Special Educational Needs football tournament.

The Regional finals were held at Derby College and the team from Moulton College will now represent the East Midlands at the national finals in Loughborough in April.

The tournament was led by lecturer Richard Sudnik with BTEC National Diploma students refereeing the games as well as acting as volunteers to help manage the teams and matches.

Derby College won the tournament last year and were this year joined by teams from Moulton, New College Nottingham, Grantham, Chesterfield, South East Derbyshire and Buxton colleges.
