Callum Turner
Currently studying A-levels at JWC, Callum was elected as student governor by his peers from all five campuses across Derby College in October 2009.
As student governor his main role is to give a student opinion on college matters to the other governors on the board. He is also on the DCSU Executive Committee which runs the Students’ Union. His main role is to act as a voice for students and as a Union rep, volunteering on different projects in his free time. His main aims for the year as student governor include: increasing participation between all sites to get Derby College students interacting with each other, and to make DCSU a more fun and enjoyable organisation for all students to get involved with.
