Tuition Fees and Finance
Full-time courses are free to students who meet a three-year residency requirement and who are under 19 years of age on September 1st in the year they commence their studies.
UK students who are 19 and over will need to pay tuition fees as well as the relevant registration and exam fees. There are, however, exemptions for those who are:
• Undertaking an accredited Basic Skills programme in literacy, numeracy or ESOL.
• Receiving a means-tested benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance.
• Undertaking a first full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
If you are concerned about money troubles, don’t forget that there is a range of financial support on offer which could help you.
Overseas students will need to pay the full international fee. Contact the College on 01332 8516744 for full details. If you are intending to apply for a student visa, you need to have agreed a full-time programme and to have paid a deposit before the College will release the paperwork to support your visa application. The remainder of the fee must be paid in full at enrolment. You will also be liable for all bank transfer charges.
If your visa application is unsuccessful, the deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of £250.
