How to Apply
1. If you are not sure which area you would like to study please visit one of our information evenings and have a chat with staff. You may also like to talk over your choices with your Connexions Advisor.
2. When you have made your decision, complete the application form (online or from the back of the prospectus) and hand in or post back to Student Services, Derby College, FREEPOST, DY420, Prince Charles Avenue, Derby, DE22 4BF. Online application forms are linked at the bottom of all the individual full time course information sheets. We will send an acknowledgement once we have received your application. We can only accept one application for one programme of study from each person. Any subsequent applications will not be processed unless previous applications have been withdrawn.
3. You will then be invited into College for an interview with a member of staff from the area in which you have expressed an interest. If appropriate you may be offered a place on a course for September 2010.
4. During August you will be sent a pack through the post with dates and times for enrolment. At enrolment there will be further opportunities to meet with staff to discuss your programme of study.
5. August/September 2010, come to enrol and become a Derby College student.
Applications received after 1st April 2010 cannot be guaranteed an individual interview, now guaranteed a full choice of subjects.
Late applicants will still be able to enrol and will be sent a pack with details of dates and time of enrolment. All students will have an opportunity to meet with staff to discuss options prior to enrolling.
