Masons Place
Students can perfect their practical skills for a range of construction and engineering-related careers in the state-of-the-art setting of Masons Place.
Located on Nottingham Road, Chaddesden, Masons Place is a well-equipped specialist facility where learners can gain high-quality hands-on training to prepare them for the workplace.
The workshops are fitted out for subjects such as motor vehicle engineering, trowel occupation, painting and decorating. In addition, the accommodation includes general teaching rooms and IT facilities.
Our Student Services team will help all learners based at Masons Place to gain the advice, guidance and support they need to make the most of their time at the College. A dedicated Additional Learning Support team is also available on site.
Recreation areas and a student diner provide ample opportunity for socialising and relaxation, while the site is also home to a Students’ Union base.
On-site parking is provided but Masons Place is very easy to reach from the city centre and students are encouraged to use public transport. A free shuttle bus links the College’s city sites and the main public transport stations.
