Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has launched a new supported internship programme in partnership with Derby College Group, creating meaningful workplace opportunities for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship is designed for experienced support staff already working in education who want to deepen their expertise and specialise in supporting learners in areas such as SEND, social and emotional wellbeing, or specific curriculum areas like early reading or languages.
