Aiming to improve your GCSE profile? Need Maths or English GCSE on your CV? Been away from education for a while and keen to refresh your knowledge? Derby College could have a fulfilling course that’s ideal for you.

Preparing for success

We offer a range of GCSE options to help you prepare for the next stage of your life. As well as gaining valuable qualifications, you’ll build your confidence, self-reliance and independence.

The opportunities include:

  • Evening GCSE classes for adults in English, Maths and Science subjects – with opportunities to study at both our Roundhouse and Ilkeston campuses.
  • Focus – a programme for Students who achieved grade D in their core GCSEs and would like to improve those grades to progress to an advanced course at the College.
  • LIVES – a programme for Students who have not previously had the opportunity to sit their GCSE exams and who would like to advance to other academic or vocational courses of study and training.
