Seventeen-year-old Nicky Chen knows exactly what he plans to do with his mechanical engineering degree.
Nicky, who lives in Osmaston and went to Merrill Academy, is a massive Formula 1 fan and wants to get into the FI industry as an engineer.
He achieved A*s in his Maths and Chemistry A-levels and a B in Physics.
Nicky said: “I’m pleased with my results and my grades are what I needed to get into university in Leeds or Bristol.
“I’m studying mechanical engineering because I’m such a big F1 fan and hope to work in engineering and designing sports cars once I’ve finished uni.”
