Former A-level student Kaya Cunningham exceeded her own expectations by gaining an A* in Law and As in History and Biology.
Kaya, who went to West Park School in Spondon, is now going to the University of Sheffield to study law and would like to be a family lawyer when she graduates.
She said: “I enjoyed college. A-level Law was definitely my favourite; I found Biology A-level the hardest although I did better in it than I’d expected.
“Family law has always interested me. While at College I did work experience over two years through the Sutton Trust’s Pathways to Law programme.”
