A wide range of sectors were involved in the event including healthcare, engineering, construction, IT, hospitality, finance, motor vehicle and the armed forces.
The event was part of National Careers Week with several activities organised across the college including workshops about higher education options at college and universities as well as apprenticeships.
Head of Student Experience and Pastoral Support Aaron Denton explained: “The Insight into Industry Day was an opportunity for our students to explore their options and gain an insight into industry sectors by speaking to the experts, exploring and researching work experience and job opportunities now and in the future.”
