Sustainability Leadership Committee

The Sustainability Leadership Group meets three times a year to provide DCG’s senior leadership team with strategic oversight of sustainability matters. These meetings enable senior leaders to receive updates on progress and to review and guide DCG’s overall sustainability strategy.

Staff Sustainability Champions Group

The Staff Sustainability Champions Group brings together colleagues from across the organisation to share sustainability insights from their areas, represent views from across the college, and remain informed about current initiatives. The group provides a two‑way forum for discussion, enabling staff to offer feedback and ideas while also having a voice in shaping and strengthen the organisation’s approach to sustainability.

Student Sustainability Ambassadors

In partnership with Derby College Students’ Union, the Student Sustainability Ambassadors provide a dedicated student voice within the college’s sustainability framework. The ambassadors articulate student priorities, expectations, and ideas, ensuring that student perspectives inform decision‑making and the ongoing development of sustainability initiatives.
