Derby College Term Dates 2025 – 2026

Enrolment

Enrolment will take place from Thursday 21 August 2025, following the release of exam results, and will run until Friday 29 August 2025. Enrolment is by invitation only. Invitations with designated dates and times will be sent to applicants. Log in to your InTouch account to track your applications and view important updates.

Induction

Student Induction will be undertaken during the first teaching week, commencing 2 – 5 September 2025.

Core Teaching

Core teaching timetables will start on Monday 8 September 2025. When enrolled, students will receive their timetables detailing the days they are required to attend college.

Autumn Term

Start of term/teaching starts: Monday 8 September 2025

Half term: Monday 27 October – Friday 31 October 2025

End of term/last day of teaching: Thursday 19 December 2025

Half term: Friday 19 December 2025 – Friday 2 January 2026

Inset Day: Monday 5 January 2026

Spring Term

Start of term/teaching starts: Tuesday 6 January 2026

Half term: Monday 16 – Friday 20 February 2026
