Trailer Use and Reversing

This course is for anyone who uses trailers, horse boxes or caravans. You will learn about legislation, safe loading, and operating and reversing the trailer.

The minimum age for a candidate taking this course is 17 years. You need to have a full driving licence which covers use of trailers on the road.

This one-day course covers: 

• Legislation regarding trailers and road use
• Safe loading and securing
• Operating a vehicle and trailer on public highways and private roads
• Reversing, including around corners, at angles and straight

This course will be delivered on-site at Broomfield Hall.

You will be required to supply your own:

• Steel toe-cap boots
• Writing materials
• Lunch (there will be on-site facilities if you wish to purchase your lunch here)

You will be assessed throughout the day and will receive a certificate of completion.
