Floristry Taster – March
This course will help you to understand the different constructions used when making floral designs. You will be informed about how to prepare your materials before commencing a design. You will also be instructed on how to make two different types of designs.

Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for someone interested in floristry. You will construct the designs yourself, with help, support and feedback given throughout.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. A keen interest in floristry and a creative mind would be an advantage, but not essential.
What will you learn?
There will be reference to plant identification and a practice of three types of floristry skills.
How will you learn?
This course will be delivered on-site at Broomfield Hall and is a practical, hands-on programme.
What will you need to bring with you?
You will be required to supply your own:
- Closed-toe flat shoes
- Scissors or secateurs
- Apron or tabard
- Writing materials for note taking if you wish
How will you be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course, although feedback will be given throughout the session.
