Course Information for Students

Do you want more from life? Perhaps you want to develop your communication skills and build your confidence using IT. Maybe you want to get involved in your local community or secure a job. This programme helps adults with learning disabilities/difficulties to develop skills for life and work.

There are no entry requirements.

We will plan your programme with you based on what interests you and what you would like to achieve. For example, if your aim is to get a job, you will learn IT skills that would support you to complete work-related projects.

The course will be delivered on site at Derby College Group’s Ilkeston campus.

You will need money for breaks and/or lunch.

You will be assessed using the RARPA framework. There is no exam or final assessment with this pathway.

After completing this programme, you will feel more confident to become part of the local community because you will have developed your skills for life and work.
