We are looking for two level 3 apprentice TAs. One will be working 1:1 with a child in year 1 (September 26) and one in KS2 (class TBC). Year 1 will include working with a child with medical needs, as well as undertaking paediatric first aid training. KS2 will again be working 1:1 with children on the SEND register.

Further training around TA specialisms if required. Some TAs have gone on to teacher train also, which is something school would consider.

About the employer
We are a one form entry primary school (3-11), with a nursery in Bestwood, Arnold. We currently sit at a rate of around 50% of our children class as disadvantaged and the area itself if within the bottom 10% on the deprivation index. Class sizes range from 22-37 with a year 3-4 mix class being the biggest in school.
