Hundreds of students and staff across DCG have been involved in Derby City Council’s Christmas Cheer project which is providing much needed support and festive cheer to particularly vulnerable and elderly people across the city.

Around 50 Public Services students from Derby College's Broomfield Hall joined a host of other organisations and Derby City Council to give the city centre a deep clean and face lift.

The students were involved in a wide range of activities including litter picking, painting street furniture and jet washing pavements.
