The balcony space has been transformed with synthetic grass, patio planters and benches using recycled pallets donated by local company DW Hicks.
Head of JWC Stacey Adams said: “The urban garden has been created as part of our enrichment programme where students have the opportunity to join a wide range of activities that develop their personal and team building skills.
“It is a simple but highly effective concept and is already being enjoyed by our staff and students.”
