A wide range of competitions and activities were organised by students using entrepreneurship skills throughout the week including an animal cuddle station, crystal maze challenge and fairground games.
The money raised has been split between Age UK, Cancer Research and the Derby Breakfast Club initiative.
One of the Science and Maths tutor groups raised the most money - £134 - with their juke box activity and cake sales.
They and tutor Katherine McKenzie received a trophy presented every year in memory to former maths teacher John Moakes who was heavily involved in RAG Week before his sudden death a few years ago.
Head of the Joseph Wright Centre Stacey Adams congratulated all the students who took part in the RAG Week. “We are extremely proud of everyone’s efforts which has resulted in this amount going to three worthwhile causes
“The activities were an opportunity for students to learn new skills, make new friends and have a lot of fun."
