Course Information for Students

This course is for adults students aged 19 and over who want to understand the different roles in early years and school settings, supporting children’s learning and development. 

A keen interest in wanting to work with children.

You don’t need to have previous qualifications and we can discuss options of studying functional skills Maths & English alongside the qualification.

  • CV preparation, interviews & next steps

Learning activities include groups discussions, pairs or small group tasks researching information to extend your knowledge and understanding, scenario’s and examples from workplace settings.

Your teacher will assess your learning and understanding of topics through questioning, group discussions and class tasks 

Students can progress on to the NCFE Equality & Diversity qualification which follows this course.
