This is a one-day course aimed at anyone who might want to consider a career in the health and social care sector. It will help you decide if a career in the sector is for you and will help you prepare for any interviews.
This course will be running throughout the year so you can apply at any time.
There are no specific entry requirements.
What will you learn?
You will gain an introduction to areas such as:
- what the sector is and possible job roles
- skills and qualities needed to work in the sector
How will you learn?
You will learn on-site
What will you need to bring with you?
How will you be assessed?
You will be assessed by a variety of assessment tasks and activities and will receive a College certificate.
You could consider the Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.
