Entry Requirements
This course is aimed at anyone interested in gaining the first aid knowledge and skills relevant to treating allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).

- Assessment of first aid situations
- Main aims of first aid
- Summoning the emergency services
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Top to toe survey
- Recovery position
- Respiratory disorders
- Life-threatening problems relating to anaphylactic shock
- Recognising and treating anaphylaxis
- Use of an auto-injector pen when treating anaphylaxis
- Dealing with the aftermath of the first aid incident
