Who is this course for?
This course is an apprenticeship which may include time at College to gain your maths, English, theory and practical skills in Level Three Beauty.
It covers:
- advanced massage techniques such as face and body electrical treatments
- organisational operations (such as salon business systems and processes, and data protection) to comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- contributing to the financial effectiveness of the business, maintaining and maximising resources (people, equipment and consumables)
There are 13 mandatory duties to complete within the course. Each unit is exam based.
The apprenticeship also includes:
- Maths and English at Level Two
- 20% off-the-job training
- End-point assessment with HTCT
Entry Requirements
- Completion of a Level Two NVQ in Beauty Therapy
- Level One qualification in Maths and English or the equivalent
- A minimum contract of 30 hours per week
- Working in a relevant environment in a Level Three position within beauty therapy
- Enthusiasm to pursue a career in advanced beauty therapy

It covers:
- advanced massage techniques such as face and body electrical treatments
- organisational operations (such as salon business systems and processes, and data protection) to comply with legal and regulatory requirements

How will you learn?
The apprenticeship will be delivered in the workplace and on-site.
What will you need to bring with you?
There are costs for the basic beauty equipment but all products used in College are free.

Where next?
You can progress to a Level Five Leadership and Management course.
