Course Summary

This course provides a foundation for designing, building and
working with relational databases. The training focuses on the
fundamentals of relational database design to deliver a better
understanding of how data is stored, queried and manipulated.

Delegates will have the opportunity to design a practical working
database, with plenty of hands-on exercises to implement
their design. They will also write some basic queries so they
are acquainted with the foundations of the Structured Query
Language (SQL). No previous knowledge of the SQL language is
assumed. Knowledge of basic programming concepts would be
helpful but not essential.
