Course Summary

You will learn all the floristry techniques for producing creative and viable wedding designs. The course will be mainly practically based but will include some theory to consolidate your learning of the subject.

This course is aimed at learners wishing to have an introduction to the construction and techniques of creating commercially viable wedding designs.

  • Construction methods
  • Packaging and transportation
  • Identification and care of materials
  • Costing

How will I be assessed?

There is no formal assessment to complete. However, the production of a portfolio to document your progress and development of the subject is mandatory.

You will be required to supply your own:

  • Flowers, foliage and sundry items
  • Writing materials
  • Scissors
  • Apron
  • Secateurs
