Course Summary

You will learn all the floristry techniques for producing creative and viable floral arrangements. The course will be mainly practically based but will include some theory to consolidate your learning of the subject.

This course is aimed at learners wishing to have an introduction to the construction and techniques of creating commercially viable traditional and contemporary floral arrangements.

  • Construction methods
  • Care and transportation
  • Identification and knowledge of materials
  • Costing
     

How will I be assessed?

There are no formal assessments to complete. However, producing a portfolio to document your progression and development of the subject is mandatory.

You will be required to supply your own:

  • Flowers, foliage and sundry items
  • Writing materials
  • Scissors
  • Apron
  • Secateurs
