Course Summary

This course is designed for sellers who wish to improve their closing skills.  Closing is converting commitment into a decision.  We will share advanced techniques that will produce a positive outcome for all in the process.

Entry requirements

The course is aimed at individuals involved in the buying cycle such as BD execs, account managers and territory managers. It is also helpful for those who have not benefitted from any formal development in the area of closing techniques.

Course Content

  • The Five Principles of Closing: we look at stress points in closing clients – “close early and often” - and we look deeper into natural ‘decision making points’ when selling.
  • What really is Closing? How do you reach a decision?  What is a pre-closed decision? How to take the pressure off, build relationships, focus on process and detach from emotion.
  • The Obstacles to Closing: delegates will learn about - and how to overcome - the major closing obstacles
  • Become a Master of Persuasion: persuasion power helps you get more of the things you want - faster than anything else you do.  We look at the difference between success and failure.
  • The Trial Closing Corridor: learn how to guide candidates and clients through the process to ensure a positive decision can be reached.
  • Choosing the Right Tool for the Job: learn the top ten closing techniques used by the most successful salespeople.
  • Major Milestones in the Process: learn the many points in the recruitment process where closing is essential.
