Course Summary

Learn the basics of installing post and wire fencing that will last. This two-day course will show you how to erect post and wire fencing successfully and the reasons for the selection of different materials.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements - you just need an interest in knowing more about post and wire fencing.

Course Content

This is a two-day course which runs from 10am to 3pm with a 30-minute lunch break. One hour is classroom based while eight hours will be spent on practical work, erecting post and wire fencing.

How will I be assessed?

There is no formal assessment.

Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required?

You will be required to supply your own:

  • Steel toe-capped boots/wellingtons
  • Overalls
  • Writing materials
  • Lunch/refreshments
