This course completes the required element to underpin an apprenticeship in electrical installation. It is a valuable course which increases employability within the Building Services industry. It will require considerable commitment and effort to complete but offers a superior pathway to employment. It covers the advanced technical aspects of electrical installation and testing.
You should have already completed the Level 2 qualification or have some relevant experience and knowledge of the industry. You will need GCSE English and Maths at grade C (4) or above. You will also have to complete and pass a formal interview and a progression assessment.

You will be assessed via practical assignments and on-demand multiple choice tests, which are available through the City & Guilds e-assessment platform, e-volve.
Students will be required to purchase three polo shirts, a pair of boots and trouser overalls. They are also advised to purchase course books for revision. A small tool kit is recommended.
