This qualification will help you gain the knowledge and abilities you need to progress to an electrotechnical apprenticeship programme or NVQ.
You should have already completed the Level 2 qualification or have some relevant experience and knowledge of the industry. You will need GCSE English and Maths at grade C higher or above. You will also have an interview and an aptitude test.
You will be assessed via practical assignments and on-demand multiple choice tests, which are available through the City & Guilds e-assessment platform, e-volve.
You will need relevant health and safety equipment such as boots and overalls.
You can progress to a Building Services qualification or Professional Construction course. You can also advance your career within various roles in the electrical industry.
