This qualification provides recognition of the skills and knowledge of individuals who work in a laboratory in an educational or industrial environment. It covers health and safety procedures; maintaining efficient and effective working relationships; and using information recording systems for scientific or technical activities.
You need GCSE English.

This Certificate is part of a suite of qualifications developed from the Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities National Occupational Standards (NOS) at Levels 2 to 4.
You could become a science technician in a school or other organisations where a science degree is not a prerequisite.
