Course Summary

This is an experiential day of mindfulness practice which will give you the opportunity to practise in depth all of the main mindfulness meditations in a group setting. 

Entry requirements

The workshop is aimed at those aged 19+.

This day is open to anyone who has experience of a six or eight-week Mindfulness course taken either at Derby College, with other teachers or as self learning.  It is not suitable for beginners.

Course Content

Part of the day will be in silence.

The workshop will include:

 

  • The Body Scan
  • Mindfulness of Breathing
  • Developing Loving Kindness and Gratitude
  • Mindful Movement
  • Mindful Eating (over lunch)
  • Group enquiry

There will also be the opportunity to explore self nourishment in more detail and how to sustain your Mindfulness practice.

Bring a mat, cushion and blanket, an open mind, a willingness to practise and YOU - that’s ALL!

Lunch and soft refreshments will be provided and are inclusive of the price paid.
