Derby College is ideally equipped to make your learning experience positive and productive. All students have access to excellent learning resources as well as the expertise of our dedicated staff. The latest Ofsted report about Derby College describes our teaching and learning as “stimulating and purposeful.”
There’s a wealth of up-to-date resources available to support your progress and help you take your studies further. You’ll find learning resource centres at each main site, providing a full range of books, journals and audio visual resources as well as allocated ‘quiet areas’ where you can concentrate undisturbed. Our specialist collections reflect the subject areas taught on each campus and the centre opening hours are organised to suit the different needs of students.
There are plenty of computers to give you easy access to online resources too and our friendly staff are always on hand to provide expert advice and help you find the information you need.
