College gave me the skills and strength to prove to myself that I could do this. Education is very empowering and I certainly don't intend to just sit back now – I want to keep learning. I had a lot of support at College who were flexible around childcare and work commitments which I will always be grateful for and I now hope to be able to give work experience opportunities to hairdressing students at the College to help them in their future careers.
